Waste Sorted (Be a Great Sort) is a Western Australian Government education and advertising campaign for a new paradigm in recycling in waste management being rolled out in Perth and regional areas. Head Office was contracted by Gatecrasher advertising to handle all design, animation and post-production on a range of content including Print, TVCs, and 2d animated social media advertising.
development journey
The project morphed in scope along the way, with multiple directions pitched and run through various focus groups. It ranged in styles and content. In the end, it came down to a 3d Octopus versed in the ways of recycling or a collection of diverse 2d characters.
